Many an afternoon is spent in the Boyle backyard enjoying great weather and even better friends. The kiddos have a blast swimming, playing and of course snacking.  Liam and his harem are too cute for words much less clothes! (I think Liam has a shirt on but no shorts or diaper!)

Searching for that Perfect Book

Liam loves books.  I can always count on a book bringing him out of a sour mood .  Today I found him in one of our many book cabinets intensely looking for just the right book.  

Apparently he found just the right one!

What a Book!

Mike received this book in the mail today.  It is an oculoplastic surgery text written by Dr. Long who precepted Mike in Alabama.  Mike reads Liam a book every night before bed and tonight they were reviewing some very interesting photos!

The Battle Creek Zoo

Today we took a mini-road trip with my neighbor Lori and her son Carter.  We headed to the Battle Creek Zoo where they have the most unusual exhibit...feeding the giraffes.  It was an absolute blast!

There was a deck that you walked out onto and the giraffes came right up to the netting to eat the lettuce.  The zoo made a killing on this exhibit, it was 5$ for some lettuce and I think between the 2 of us we spent 25$ on lettuce!  It was so worth it though, the kids were amazed.

Liam had no fear at all!  He would hold out that lettuce and the giraffe would wrap that long sticky tongue right around his hand and suck it right in.  Liam would squeal in delight.  We had so much fun.
