Today we took a mini-road trip with my neighbor Lori and her son Carter. We headed to the Battle Creek Zoo where they have the most unusual exhibit...feeding the giraffes. It was an absolute blast!
There was a deck that you walked out onto and the giraffes came right up to the netting to eat the lettuce. The zoo made a killing on this exhibit, it was 5$ for some lettuce and I think between the 2 of us we spent 25$ on lettuce! It was so worth it though, the kids were amazed.
Liam had no fear at all! He would hold out that lettuce and the giraffe would wrap that long sticky tongue right around his hand and suck it right in. Liam would squeal in delight. We had so much fun.

Hi Boyles! We did this at Lowry Park zoo in Tampa (although they only charged $1 for a biscuit of some sort). It was the best part of the trip! Liam looks so cute!
