Today was a big day for Liam, we tried out some of his toys. I was not sure if he was old enough yet to actually notice or play with them, but he did! The fish mirror toy plays some music and lights up when he bumps it. He was able to trigger the music but probably only by accident. He loved the mirror and studied himself for about 20 minutes while we ate dinner.
A little later in the evening we put him on the floor mat in his boppy. Above him there is a toy dog with a mirror on his belly and it also plays music and lights up, that seemed to mesmerize him too.
He would bat at the toys and really liked the colors of the dog toy. It was great to see him "playing" with the toys and keeping himself busy. I was a little worried about having him on the floor with our 2 greyhounds but they did not show any interest. Needless to say I sat right next to him in case they got a little crazy.
